A Guide to the Saudi Arabian Economy Book
This is a guide to the Saudia Arabian economy and also to Saudi Arabian life in general. The authors describe the four Development Plans, the last one to be completed in 1990, and show how changes which take place, particularly in the oil sector, affect the economy and the development strategy as a whole. This is the second edition of the text which incorporates the changes which have taken place since the first edition was published in 1984. It is intended for all who are connected with Saudi Arabia, in business, in politics, or simply as visitors. During 1979, John Presley was economic adviser in the Ministry of Planning where he assisted with the preparation of the Third Development Plan. He has also written "European Monetary Integration" with Peter Coffey, "Currency Areas: Theory and Practice" with G.E.J.Dennis, "Robertsonian Economics" and is editor of "Pioneers of Modern Economics in Britain Volumes 1 and 2" with David Greenaway.Read More
