Basic Digital Electronics (Physics & Its Applications) Book
This volume provides a self-contained introduction to digital electronics. Assuming no prior knowledge of digital circuits the author introduces binary variables and Boolean algebra and then leads the reader through to complex combinational circuits including programmable logic devices. The final chapter discusses the interfacing of analogue and digital systems. This text includes exercises with answers to selected questions and laboratory practicals, many of which result in practical circuits. TTL logic is used throughout the book and appendices provide details on logic families and hints on building and testing designs. The new IEC symbols are given in addition to standard circuit symbols. This book should be of interest to second year undergraduate physics and computer science students, and first year electrical engineering students.Read More
