In the series, "Clinical Approaches to Violence", the contributors focus on the specific areas within their specialist fields: the empirical research, the theories built around the data, and the practical application, both in terms of assessment and intervention, of this research and theory. The topic for this second volume in the series is sex offences because the topic has seen a recent rapid development, both in terms of public interest and involvement. In response to this growing awareness, researchers and practitioners from a range of professions, theoretical persuasions, and schools of clinical practice have become involved in working with sex offenders and their victims.
