Collins Mental Maths - Pupil Book 2: Level 2 Book

Collins Mental Maths 2 is a part of a series of teacher's guides and pupil books that can be used to develop children's mental maths skills. Mental maths is at the heart of the Numeracy Strategy and this pupil book would be an excellent resource for teachers and parents to use to develop children's numeracy skills. This book is intended for use with Year 2 children (6-7 year olds) and would consolidate mental maths skills that they are learning as part of the Numeracy Strategy, for example, ordering numbers, odd and even numbers, finding the difference etc. This book could be used orally with children or they could record their answers in the book. The help boxes clearly show the children which mental strategy they should be using. There are six check-up tests to see how things are progressing.
