Architects have been responsible for many of the modern furniture classics of the 20th century - Mies's Barcelona Chair, Eileen Gray's side table and Corb's chaise longue. Keen to exert their influence over every aspect of an interior's design, today's architects are also forging a prominent role in furniture design.
