This is a post-elementary, low-intermediate course specifically designed for young trainess who will be working in hotels and restaurants where they will need English to deal with their customers. Throughout the course, the emphasis is on speaking and understanding English in the contexts of restaurant, kitchen and bar, reception, reservation and all "front of house" areas. The 28 units cover a range of topics, such as how to take bookings, methods of cooking, names of dishes, various methods of payment, dealing with enquiries and complaints and giving directions. Each unit has two listening sections with accompanying activities.
