The publication of a new title in Herbert Ypma's hugely successful and highly collectable Hip Hotels series has become a much-anticipated, biannual event. And April 2002 is no exception. With its lush green cover--romantically interspersed with photographs of ancient statues--and its treasure-trove content, Hip Hotels: Italy is as covetable as the destinations it advertises. The major cities are covered here: in the heart of Milan, mecca for designer die-hards, the ultra-modern Spadari Al Duomo lies close to the architectural delight that is the city's main cathedral and major attraction.
