Introduction to English Law (OPUS) Book
This is the tenth edition of Geldart's Introduction to English Law, originally published in 1911, and the fourth edition to be prepared by D.C.M. Yardley. Since the publication of the ninth edition in 1984, there have been important court decisions and a great deal of relevant new legislation. Yardley has taken account of all these developments and the result has been substantial rewriting of several parts of the book. These include the sections dealing with the contractual liability of minors, the abolition of the concept of illegitimacy, the liability of a trade union in tort for inducing a person to break his contract of employment, the new public order offenses, and the intent necessary for a conviction of murder.Read More
