Intuition is Not Enough explores the connections between the challenges of therapeutic practice with disturbed children and of professional training in social work and therapy. Advancing the principle that professional training must reflect the key principles of professional practice, the contributors to this volume demonstrate how the developmental principles underlying therapeutic work with young people can influence the design and practice of training.
