Juliet, Naked CD

Annie and Duncan are an unmarried couple stuck in a lifeless relationship in an equally lifeless northern seaside town. Annie runs the local museum and Duncan runs a website dedicated to his idol, American rock legend Tucker Crowe, who sank from the spotlight after 'Juliet' his 1986 break-up album. In the 20 years since the album was released, there's hardly been any news-worthy content for Duncan's site, but all that changes when an advance copy of Juliet, Naked is set to be released. When the CD arrives, Duncan rushes to the post, but Annie has already taken the CD. Duncan is furious that she's listened to it first and even worse she thinks it's rubbish. Irritated by Duncan's obsession and furious with herself for wasting so many years with him, Annie posts her own scathing review of the CD. Soon the review gets back to Tucker, who couldn't agree more with her and the unlikely pair start an relationship that gives them both another chance by teaching them how to move on. Read More

Annie and Duncan are a mid-thirties couple who have reached a fork in the road, realising their shared interest in the reclusive musician Tucker Crowe is not enough to hold them together any more. When Annie hates Tucker's 'new release', a terrible demo of his famous album, it's the last straw - Duncan cheats on her and she promptly chucks him.
