CIC Special Agents were stationed near U.S. troops in strategic locations all over the world where they serviced the troops by conducting counterintelligence activities during World War II. Edwards founded The CIC Reporter magazine (later known as the Golden Sphinx), serving as editor-in-chief for a total of nine years.
