Legs of Lamb: The Story of One Man's Prayer Walk Around the Coast of Britain Book

Legs of Lamb - tells the story of my personal journey, culminating in a prayer walk round the full coastline of mainland Britain 2005/2006. The book aims to inspire and encourage young and old alike to believe in the power of prayer, and in the God who answers very specifically and practically on a day to day basis. Over a journey of four thousand five hundred miles which lasted more than three hundred days, I was to stay in the homes of about two hundred fellow Christians from all walks of life, many of whom were complete strangers. The project was enriched by the loving and committed support not only of a very capable support group, but also my home church and my family. What started out as a solo adventure soon gathered momentum, as friends and hosts alike felt compelled to join me for a taste of the nectar of spending quality time in the great outdoors focused on God - and watching what He could do! A number of them have written positive reports, which have been included within the book. It wasn t all plain sailing, as I was hit by all that the elements could offer, and the physical pain of carrying a heavy rucksack, walking through blisters, and strains not to mention the fiercest of Scottish clegs.
