Lincolnshire: The Way We Were Book
In September 1999, the Lincolnshire Echo began publishing a new weekly supplement, 'The Way We Were'. Its eight pages of stories, nostalgia and photographs soon became one of the most popular regular supplements in the newspaper. The contents of this book are taken primarily from the pages of these supplements and utilise the regular features 'The Gossiper', 'Bette's Bygones', Lincolnian's Diary' and "Then and Now". Full-page pictures are selected from those which have appeared on the front pages of the supplements and are all taken from the Lincolnshire Echo photographic archives. Additional pictures have also been included to illustrate some of the articles where those used originally are no longer available.Read More
