Kaninda is left for dead when his family is gunned down by the warring tribe¹s army in their village in Lesai, Africa. He is ³saved² by a Red Cross-like organization called God¹s Force and brought to the UK to be adopted by a family there, against his will. He would have rather stayed n his home community of Lesai to fight his war and defend the honor of his people and the memory of his family. In his new home, Kaninda stays silent, like a good soldier is trained to do, and plans his escape back to Africa. In the meantime, a gang war and the arrival in London of a boy from the warring tribe will force Kaninda to reconsider his ideas about revenge and loyalty.
