The downeast coast of Maine is a special place. It is studded with picture postcard harbors and towns reminiscent of Norman Rockwell paintings. It is said that this is the first place where lobster men strapped gasoline engines over their keels to escape the vagaries of the wind. Taking the lines of boats built before 1940 by Alvin Beal, Steve takes the modeller step-by-step through the process of building an authentic scale model lobster boat.
