This is the 2nd volume of the Monarch series, and is dedicated to the Dornier 335 Arrow. The Do 335 was one of the most unusual single-seat fighters of German Luftwaffe. Powered by two of the most powerful 12-cylinder engines, one in the nose and the other buried in the rear fuselage, it was probably the fastest propeller-driven warplane of the Second World War. The Do 335 Arrow appeared too late to see operational service with the Luftwaffe, but it was a significant bridge between prop and jet-powered aircraft.
