Nursing: Art and Science Book

The aim of this book is to offer a conceptual framework for nursing as a profession. It arose from the first of a series of seminars at the Institute of Nursing in Oxford. The areas of convergence were considered important by the participants who felt that the key issues must be made availasble to a wider audience, and that nursing knowledge should continue to make a major contribution to health policy formation. The task of the reader is to differentiate between the arguments of the contributors and arrive at a personal view, having had the opportunity to consider a variety of views and perspectives.
