Self Designed Universe Book

Things change overtime. Until recently the theories of Darwin and his followers collectively known as the theories of evolution were considered adequate enough to explain this change. As man has gone deeper into things he has found these theories to be increasingly inadequate. Alongside is the idea of what is known as design or intelligent design: that things change rather because of some design, either inherently there in the scheme of things of the universe or put up by some outside agency or intelligence usually identified by the name of God.There is hardly any doubt that the things are actually going in favor of design with each passing day.While the things are thus going in favor of design, nobody as yet has given even a minor clue as to what could possibly be the composition of this design. After all, irrespective of whether the design is inherently there in the scheme of things of the universe or put up by some outside agency, someday we shall have to unravel the mystery of this design as well! For, aren't we already unraveling the mysteries of the whole universe even if the whole of the universe may also be said to be put up there by God?It is here that the book under description i.e., Self-Designed Universe comes to fit into the picture.This book, while postulating that the universe goes through eternal cycles of evolution and devolution and the design is inherently built there in this scheme, throws first hints as to the composition of this design. Even intelligence, according to this book, is the product of this design.We know that the physicists have reduced all the numerous forces working in the universe to four basic ones of gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak forces. Now, according to Self-Designed Universe, the universe gets wound up into these forces in the order of weak, strong, electromagnetic and gravitational forces in its devolutionary cycle and gets unwound from them in the reverse order in its evolutionary cycle. In physicistsÂ? language, the universe will go through weak, strong, electromagnetic and gravitational interactions in its devolutionary cycle and in the reverse order of these interactions in its evolutionary cycle.This going through eternal cycles of devolution and evolution, coupled with going through the above interactions further within them in the process, comprises the design and sole design of the universe or of its evolution and needless to say, devolution, according to this book.Darwinian explanations of so-called evolution of species here on earth are only secondary to the explanation through this design. Considering only the evolutionary cycle of the universe, the force of the big bang from within forces the universe and every subsequent system within it including us humans to go through the above interactions from within their respective centers. Darwinian theories only explain why and how we adapt to the effect of going through these interactions which in fact causes mutations in all systems. Analogically, a big explosion from within a house has deformed its structure. Darwinian theories only explain why and how we will repair the structure to the extent possible and adapt ourselves to what cannot be repaired to be able to continue living and surviving in this house. Obviously, Darwinian theories do not explain the cause of Â?evolutionÂ? or change of shape of the house under question which is, in fact, the explosion or explosive force from within!What they rather explain is why and what we do to minimize the effect of that cause. Which is actually why Richard Dawkins opines in his book Selfish Gene that the evolution happens willy-nilly despite the efforts of the replicators and now-a-days of genes to prevent it happening.Read More
