The second book in the cruising of Seraffyn series begins when the Pardeys slew a personal dragon - the Atlantic - and arrived on the southwest coast of England, where they coasted eastward, stopping where fancy held them, where good friends were made, to winter at Poole, and work to pay for the next leg of the voyage - the Baltic in the spring. They visited Denmark, Sweden, Finland, dealt with armed guards on the Polish waterfront who watched while the people greeted them with flowers, fruits, and sweets. They weathered a fierce mast-under broach in a Baltic gale on their way to Cuxhaven, Germany, and back for another winter in England.
