They Carried Her Coffin Book

The second book in the 'Dixie' series moves on to September 1993 and eight men, Sef Meyer, Doug Hardy, Ricky Hanson, Billy Collins, Dave (Sandy) Sanders, John Meyer, Chris Lievers and Andrew MacFay who were coffin bearers twenty years earlier meet for their annual reunion to commemorate the death of a very special young woman who touched all their lives and left them with profound memories. Sef is still single and a magnet for all the women in town but his son, Kurt, has unknowingly become the young pretender and a rival for the beautiful, Kelly Farrow, even though she is in a long-term relationship with another man. Sef and Kurt's impetuous acts threaten the strong bond between father and son, and endanger other firm friendships. Doug is trapped in a seemingly loveless marriage to Lesley where each of them is involved with another lover and yet something still holds them together.
