Thy Brother's Wife Book
Mike Cronin, a Chicago millionaire, plans and orchestrates the destinies of his two sons, Paul and Sean in such a way that there seems no escape for either. Paul, destined for politics, is deftly guided into Bobby Kennedy's entourage, where he learns the strategies necessary for his climb toward the presidency. Sean, dedicated to the Church, becomes a parish priest, but is unknowingly pushed into church politics by his ambitious father. Of course, disaster is inevitable as Paul's total lack of scruples leads him into intrigue after intrigue, while Sean's love for Paul's wife leads to personal, family, and clerical complications. Thy Brother's Wife is crisp, fun fiction with some factual basis implied. However, Greeley's excessive use of circumstance--perhaps divine intervention--reduces the credibility of his tale.Read More
