He was Professor of Planning at The Queen's University, Belfast prior to his appointment as Professor in Nottingham. Dr Taner Oc is Director of the Institute of Planning Studies at the University of Nottingham. He has taught at Middle East Technical University, The Queen's University, Belfast and the George Washington University.
